Train of Thought (2006)

'Movement without cause is the origin of restlessness and unrest. It compels power to move, outside of its castles. When movement has many directions and possible meanings, when we don't know where we are and where we are going, we have to start to grope about, to touch, to experiment.'( Vähämäki)

A project generated by the Capturing the Moving Mind: Management and Movement in the Age of Permanently Temporary War conference on the Trans-Siberian train (Moscow–Novosibirsk–Beijing) September 11- 20, 2005

First shown at Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki, Finland in April 2006 as part of ARS06
